late {Floral Friday} Vintage Pink, Ivory, & Gold

Good morning everyone and welcome back for another late {Floral Friday}!
This week has been all about a vintage palette in Pink, Ivory, and Gold so let's take a look at some great floral inspirations!

{Centerpieces & Decorations}
Since this palette really creates a soft atmosphere, simple and elegant is key. Ivory and pink roses are classic and perfect for a vintage theme.

{Bouquets}
For your bouquets, you want to keep them simple and elegant just like your centerpieces and decorations. However, there are some great additions that you can make to really give them a vintage feel. Some great examples are wrapping your bouquet stems in satin ribbon, decorating them with antique brooches or pins, or hanging pictures of your family's weddings.

{What to Wear Wednesday} Vintage Pink, Ivory, & Gold

Good evening everyone and welcome back for another {What to Wear Wednesday}!
This week is our final installment of Vintage Month and we are looking at a Pink, Ivory, and Gold palette. The softness of this colour palette creates a vintage feel on its own, but you should be sure to include some vintage inspired elements to your fashions to help compliment your theme. Or, you can go all out and make stops at your local vintage boutiques to find yours and your bridesmaids' dresses. Let's take a look at some vintage style fashions that are a perfect fit for this palette.

{Wedding Dresses}
The obvious choice for your dress is ivory. If you choose to use ivory in your colour palette, but then choose a dress in white, everything else in your wedding that is ivory will look dull and dirty in comparison. And who wants that for their wedding? If you are more non-traditional, you could also choose a shade of pink for your dress like blush or rum pink. These are great for the Pink, Ivory, and Gold palette but are also a perfect fit for a vintage dress! Also, try out some vintage silhouettes, like a swing dress, or some vintage detailing, like lace or pearls, to add that extra something special.

{Bridesmaids}

Because you will most likely be using ivory for your wedding dress, you want to make sure to put your girls in either pink or gold so that you stand out from them. Like with your dress, you can try vintage silhouettes or stylings. However, if your girls aren't as into the vintage theme as much as you, you could always opt for simple dresses with vintage elements like ribbon, lace, pearls, beading, or (fake) fur. Accessories can really make a difference, too. Jewelry, hair accessories, purses, and shoes can really help to complete the vintage look. And don't be afraid to experiment to get it just right, everything should be perfect for your day!

{Table Top Tuesday} Vintage Pink, Ivory, & Gold

Good evening everyone and welcome back for the final Table Top Tuesday of vintage month!
This week we'll be looking at a soft vintage palette of Pink, Ivory, and Gold. When I started looking at this palette, I had no idea that it would turn out as pretty as it did. So, let's just dive into it!

{Decorations & Table Settings}
Because of the way that all of these colours fit together, you really can use any of them for your decorations and table linens. They are all pretty and create a soft vintage feel for your wedding's atmosphere. Just be sure to avoid overusing one colour over the other two, otherwise your wedding will become overwhelming visually.

{Stationary}

There is something about picture frames that gives off a total vintage feel. It probably has something to do with looking back through time. Using gilded (or fake gilded) vintage style picture frames creates an aesthetically pleasing look for your place cards or table numbers. Also, using soft pink, ivory, or gold ribbons on your invitations is a really great way to add a soft vintage touch. Topping everything off with vintage style brooch can make all the difference!

{Desserts}

Pretty sugar flowers. Ribbons. Sugar bubbles. Tasty deliciousness, need I say more?

Check out {What to Wear Wednesday} tomorrow!
