{Floral Friday} Purple & Yellow

Good evening and welcome to this week's {Floral Friday}!
This week we are looking at the springtime colour combination of Purple & Yellow.  These two colours offer you sooo many options, even if you choose to use this combination in other seasons.  Let's take a look at some great floral options.

{Floral Friday} Pink & Green

This colour combination truly makes your floral decisions a cinch.  There are so many flowers that come in multiple shades of pink that by simply pairing them with lush green leaves or other green floral accents, you really can't go wrong!  Here are some of my favourite pink and green floral inspirations.
Enjoy!

{Table Top Tuesday} Navy Blue & Blush Pink

Good evening everyone and welcome to this week's edition of {Table Top Tuesday}!
Since the result of this past week's poll came to a tie, we'll be looking at a Navy Blue & Blush Pink colour combination this week followed by Red, Black, & Grey next week.
The combination of Navy Blue & Blush Pink truly makes for a beautiful wedding. It's a little bit sophisticated and a little bit modern. It's also a great way to get around using a harsh black or a plain white as a neutral colour for your palette because navy is a great in between colour. Let's take a look at some inspirations!

{Centerpieces, Decorations, & Table Settings}
I will never tell anyone that they can't do something for their day. However, I will recommend for this colour palette that it would be better to use navy for your main linens or main decorations and use the pink to make soft accents in the flowers or even your girls' dresses.

{Stationary}
You can certainly go either way when it comes to your invitations, just make sure that it makes sense for your wedding and for you! You can pick one colour to go with, or use both by adding ribbons, bows, or other accents.

Say it with cake ... :)

Stop in tomorrow for {What to Wear Wednesday} in Navy Blue & Pink, and don't forget to cast your vote for this new {Monday Eye Candy} poll!

{Floral Friday} Dark Blue, Burgundy, & Purple Wedding

Good morning readers! Since my last few {Floral Friday} posts have been late (or non existant) I decided to get an early morning jump on it! Thanks for stopping in to check it out!
All of this week we have been looking at a Dark Blue, Burgundy, & Purple colour palette for your wedding. This romantic palette really makes for some beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, and floral arrangements. As usual, today's inspirations are GORGEOUS, so I'll do my best to let the flowers do the talking! Let's take a look at some great inspirations!

As I've been saying this whole week, be careful if you are choosing to use blue in your flowers and bouquets. Not many blue flowers come in lovely dark shades, so choosing blue can really limit your choices. Instead opt for using blue flowers simply as an accent or opt for other dark blue accents like berries and ribbon.

Tomorrow, you are invited to a Weekend Wedding in Dark Blue, Burgundy, & Purple! Also, be sure to case your vote for the next week's colour palette before it's too late!
