A romantic bridal gown with strapless neckline and bubble pick up skirt by Jim Hjelm is accented by a green bridesmaid dress with trumpet skirt by Mori Lee. Long before the vows are exchanged, the guests receive ivory invitations accented with green ribbon and written in a beautiful script font that hints at the wintery romance of the upcoming season. The guests enjoy the view of the wintery landscape from tables and chairs that are draped in elegant ivory linens and are accented with fresh ivory flowers and greenery. Everyone enjoys tasty signature drinks in shades of green and indulge in a gorgeous three tiered ivory cake that is topped with fresh ivory flowers and green berries. At the end of the magical evening, the guests take home personalized bags of the couple's favourite green coloured candies.

{It's All About the Accessories ...}

Little items, like this pearl and jade bracelet by etsy seller wristcandycreations or this pair of gold and jade earrings by etsy seller junaslab, are perfect little accents to your colour palette and they make great gifts for your bridesmaids.

Traditional veils aren't for everyone so why not accent a knotted hairstyle with some ivory flowers or a birdcage veil that is accented with an ivory flower and feathers like this piece by etsy seller YJdesign.

Nobody really wants to be toting around a huge purse during their wedding. So why not find an elegant little ivory clutch like this one by etsy seller ocstylescreations.

{Floral Friday} Jade & Ivory Wedding

Again, a late {Floral Friday}, but with this theme it is definitely worth the wait!
The Jade & Ivory colour palette makes for some really pretty foral inspirations. Since green flowers are hard to come by, especially in the winter, it's best to stick with ivory flowers. You can add jade accents like greenery, ribbon, or berries. Today, I'm going to let the flowers do the talking! Enjoy!

{What to Wear Wednesday} Jade & Ivory Wedding

Gosh, I don't know about where all of you are, but it is a wintery afternoon where I am! That means its the perfect time for a wintery Jade & Ivory {What to Wear Wednesday}!
Like I have been saying all this week, these colours are an elegant alternative to the traditional winter wedding colours. Let's take a look at some fashionable inspirations.

{Accessories}
To give your dress or your girls' dresses a wintery feel, why not add a cute wrap, bolero, cardigan, or pashmina?

{Bridesmaid Dresses}
For your girls' dresses you can go with either colour. However, if you are going to be wearing ivory yourself, you wont really stand out against ivory bridesmaids. I would recommend putting your girls in green. Opt for full length dresses.
Dress on left by Alvina Valenta; dress in centre by Bari Jay; dress on right by Dessy.
Both dresses by Jim Hjelm Occasions.
Dress on left by Dessy; dress in centre by After Six; dress on right by Lela Rose.
Dress on left by Bari Jay; dress on right by Mori Lee.
{Groomsmen}

All ties and bow ties available through The Dessy Group.
Thanks to all of you who have cast your votes for next week's colour schemes! What are the rest of you all waiting for? Hurry before its too late!

{Table Top Tuesday} Jade & Ivory Wedding

Good evening my faithful readers and thanks for stopping by for another edition of {Table Top Tuesday}!
First, be sure to cast your votes for next week's colour scheme before this coming Sunday. And second, nominations for the New Years Top Wedding Movie Countdown are coming in. Make sure that you send in your nominations before December 30th. You never know, your favourite could be #1!
Finally, this week we will be looking at a Jade & Ivory colour combination. This colour combination is clean and elegant. It is very sophisticated and it is the perfect colour combination for the couple that wants a winter wedding without following the more traditional colours.
Let's take a look at some great inspirations!

{Decorations & Table Settings}
Although using ivory as your main colour for your decorations and table linens creates a lovely wintery atmosphere, you really can use either of these two colours. They are both beautiful! My only recommendation is to avoid matching your linens with your girls' bridesmaid dresses. The day is all about you and your fiancé, but your girls will thank you for not making them blend into the background.

{Stationary & Favors}
You can really set the tone of your wedding simply with the save the dates, RSVPs, and invitations that you send out. As with your decorations and table settings, you can use either of these two colours. It's really all about how you present them. Since the colour combination is so clean and elegant, opt for pretty accents like ribbons and beautiful scripty fonts.

{Desserts}
Oh my gosh ... these cakes are mouthwatering! An ivory cake with beautiful ivory roses and greenery is perfect for this colour combination. It's elegant, its beautiful, and most importantly, its delicious!

Tommorow is {What to Wear Wednesday} so be sure to stop in for some Jade & Ivory fashion inspiration!
