What to Wear Wednesday - Vintage Hollywood

Good evening everyone and welcome to a glamorous What to Wear Wednesday!
This week is all about a Vintage Hollywood theme so the words that you want to keep in mind for your fashions as glamor and elegance. You want to keep your styles very classic, otherwise you will start to stray away from the vintage feel. Top all of your fashions off with vintage jewelry and accessories to complete your look.

Hair and Accessories:
Pearls and crystals scream glamour and elegance. Choose jewelry and hair pieces that reflect these elements.

A beautiful birdcage veil with applique flowers or feathers really is a mainstay of a vintage look.

Wedding Dresses:

Dress on left by Alvina Valenta; dress on right by Mia Solano.
Dress on left by Jenny Packham; dress on right by Natalia Misslin.
Dress on left from ABS by Allen Schwartz; dress on right by Alfred Sung.

Bridesmaid Dresses:
When choosing styles for your girls, it's best to stay with silhouettes that are reminiscent of vintage styles, otherwise you will lose the essence of your Vintage Hollywood theme. Also, since black, gold, red, and white are some of the best colours for this theme, keep this palette in mind. The best way to make your decisions is to ask yourself if you can picture this dress on the red carpet. If the answer is yes, then you definitely found a Vintage Hollywood winner!

All dresses by Alvina Valenta.
Dress on left by Bari Jay; dress in center and dress on right by Badgley Mischka.

What to Wear Wednesday - Coffee Colours

Hello coffee lovers and welcome back for What to Wear Wednesday!
When you pick a coffee coloured wedding, your colours are mostly going to be in the browns and the taupes. So when looking for a wedding dress, I personally recommend an off-white colour like ivory, antique gold, cognac, or blush. However, if you are set on having a white dress, a great brown or taupe sash is a perfect way to tie it in with your colour palette.
When looking for bridesmaid dresses for this theme, it's obvious to stick to shades of brown. Lots of dress designers use great fabrics in colours like mocha, latte, cappuccino, and espresso - perfect inspiration for a theme like this one!
Let's take a look at some great dresses!
Enjoy!
