A Weekend Wedding - Coffee Colours

Hello all of you Coffee Lovers and welcome to a Weekend Wedding!

A gorgeous a-line wedding dress with ruched bodice in white by Lazaro is accented by an a-line bridesmaid dress with jewel neckline in Cocoa by Jim Hjelm Occasions. Soft cream colours are used in the linens and bouquets to accent the rich colour of coffee. The guests are greeted by the aroma of your favourite blends at the coffee bar while they enjoy a slice of coffee flavoured cheesecake. At the end of the evening, send them home with a coffee bean decorated scented candle to remind them of your one-of-a-kind coffee themed wedding.

It's the Little Touches ...

Here's a great idea! Use coffee beans to display your place cards and hand out personalized coffee cups as favors!

A great DIY decoration or centerpiece idea is to decorate simple candles in coffee beans. Not only does it look nice, but it will smell amazing!

Why not create centerpieces/favors with a more personal touch by using samples of your favourite coffee blends?

Floral Friday - Coffee Colours

Hello everyone and welcome back for another (late) Floral Friday!
For this week's Coffee Colours theme my absolute favourite flower recommendation makes perfect sense, because what goes better with coffee than cream? Or, cream roses to be exact. These beautiful buds are the perfect off-white to go with any coffee colour paletted wedding. And because roses exude elegance they will certainly bring a higher level of sophistication to the look of your wedding. If you would like to keep some colour in your bouquets and flowers, there are also roses in shades of mocha and latte that would be absolutely stunning for a coffee coloured wedding.
Lets take a look at some really great examples.
Enjoy!

Bouquets:

Cream roses with a punch of greenery are a good way to break up your bouquets and flowers if you are not a big fan of monochrome.

Some beautiful combinations of mocha, latte, and cream roses.

These latte rose bouquets were used to match the colour of the cake!

Boutonniere:

These silk boutonnieres in cream and brown also have a punch of blue - perfect for that "something blue!"

What to Wear Wednesday - Coffee Colours

Hello coffee lovers and welcome back for What to Wear Wednesday!
When you pick a coffee coloured wedding, your colours are mostly going to be in the browns and the taupes. So when looking for a wedding dress, I personally recommend an off-white colour like ivory, antique gold, cognac, or blush. However, if you are set on having a white dress, a great brown or taupe sash is a perfect way to tie it in with your colour palette.
When looking for bridesmaid dresses for this theme, it's obvious to stick to shades of brown. Lots of dress designers use great fabrics in colours like mocha, latte, cappuccino, and espresso - perfect inspiration for a theme like this one!
Let's take a look at some great dresses!
Enjoy!

Announcement: Next Week's Theme

Hello everyone!
Just a quick post to announce next week's theme. I've decided that since the Coffe Colours Theme has been in high demand over the last two weeks that I will tackle it for this week's colour palette. Also, since Purple and White was tied for first this week I will follow up with that as the colour palette for the following week.
See you all this coming week!
