Monday Eye Candy

Hello everyone and welcome to another installment Monday Eye Candy.
It's fall and there are so many ways to incorporate the season into your wedding. This past week's poll gave you, my readers, an opportunity to vote for your favourite accent for a fall wedding. And the winner is ... Leaves! So, as promised here is an entire post dedicated to using fall leaves as your wedding accent. Enjoy!

Table Settings:
You can use leaves all over your tables. Scatter silk leaves in rich fall colours in the center of your round tables or along the length of your long tables for a great effect. Or use them for smaller accents such as your guest favours.

Bouquets, Centerpieces, and Decorations:
There are so many great centerpiece and decoration ideas that use leaves! Try adding some to your floral bouquets and centerpieces or try hanging strings of silk leaves from the ceiling for some fall flair.

Stationary:
Most stationary companies will have great fall leaf designs for save-the-dates, invitations, place cards, and programs. However, there are some great DIY opportunities for the creative brides out there who want to tackle a fall leaf wedding theme.

Desserts:
There are a few ways that you can even work your leaf accents into your wedding desserts! Silk leaves in fall colours are a great accent to a tiered wedding cake but leaves cut from fondant icing are both fun and edible! Don't be afraid to add other things too such as pumpkins, gourds, berries, apples, or acorns. All of these can be made from fondant, modeling chocolate, or marzipan and can really help to tie your leaf accents into a fall wedding theme.

Accessories:
Here is where you can get creative and have fun! Using jewelry and hairpieces that are decorated with leaves in not only a beautiful fall style choice, but it can really polish off the look of your leaf wedding theme.
