Table Top Tuesday - Brown & Red

Good afternoon everyone and welcome back for this week's edition of Table Top Tuesday!
This week's colours are brown and red, which is a great colour combination for the the transition time between summer and autumn. You can use rich shades of brown and deep reds to accent a more autumnal atmosphere for your wedding or lighter and brighter shades to hold on to that "end of summer" feeling. Also, if you feel that you want to add another neutral to add another level of colour dimension to your wedding, try a metallic gold or white/ivory.
Let's take a look at some great inspirations, and remember comments are always welcome and encouraged!
Table Settings:

Both of these table settings use red rose centerpieces to give their brown and ivory linens a pop of colour.

The use of gold accents on the left creates a richer and elegant look and feel. On the right, a table runner in light shade of brown looks stunning with ivory linens and red centerpieces.

Sometimes it's all about the venue. This venue already featured wooden tables in a rich dark brown and red wall swag!

Stationary:

These red and brown invitations are used to highlight an African themed wedding. Observe the animals and custom beading.

Personalize your brown menus and programs with red bows or jeweled ties.

What a great DIY idea for a seating chart!

Desserts:

Not liking the use of red flowers on your cake? Stick to white or ivory and use brown accents to create a simple, yet delicious looking cake.

These three cakes are all chocolate and use red accents, but they are all very different from each other. Don't forget that your wedding can also be a great chance to express your personal creativity so that the memories of your wedding live on for a long time.

These delicious looking cupcakes are chocolate on chocolate and each uses great red accents. Weddings are all about love, so using little red hearts to decorate your cake or cupcakes not only fits the brown and red colour palette but also fits the mood for the whole day!

Check in tomorrow for What to Wear Wednesday and don't forget to cast your vote for next week's Fall Colours!
