{Floral Friday} Navy Blue & Blush Pink

Good morning everyone. Sorry for the late post but yesterday was my BIRTHDAY so I was a bit preoccupied with festivities!
Welcome to a late edition of {Floral Friday} in Navy Blue & Blush Pink!
There aren't that many REAL flowers that come in shades of blue, especially NAVY blue. However, if you want to have blue flowers there is always that option of going with silk or other fabrics. Obviously, they do have a different look than real flowers but in the end it's completely up to you wether or not that look fits with the overall feel of your special day. If you still want to incorporate navy blue into your flowers, you can always opt for accents like ribbons, bows, or pins.
Let's take a look at some great floral inspirations!

{Table Top Tuesday} Navy Blue & Blush Pink

Good evening everyone and welcome to this week's edition of {Table Top Tuesday}!
Since the result of this past week's poll came to a tie, we'll be looking at a Navy Blue & Blush Pink colour combination this week followed by Red, Black, & Grey next week.
The combination of Navy Blue & Blush Pink truly makes for a beautiful wedding. It's a little bit sophisticated and a little bit modern. It's also a great way to get around using a harsh black or a plain white as a neutral colour for your palette because navy is a great in between colour. Let's take a look at some inspirations!

{Centerpieces, Decorations, & Table Settings}
I will never tell anyone that they can't do something for their day. However, I will recommend for this colour palette that it would be better to use navy for your main linens or main decorations and use the pink to make soft accents in the flowers or even your girls' dresses.

{Stationary}
You can certainly go either way when it comes to your invitations, just make sure that it makes sense for your wedding and for you! You can pick one colour to go with, or use both by adding ribbons, bows, or other accents.

A mermaid fit dress with silver ribbon and lace bolero accent by Jim Hjelm is paired with a simple silver bridesmaid dress with ruched bust. This wedding uses a silver and pink peony theme so the guests receive invitations with hand printed pink peonies to announce the special day. The ceremony and reception use uniquely painted silver chiavari chairs with silver and pink linens. The tables are decorated with beautiful "wish tree" centerpieces that give the guests that chance to wish the happy couple good luck with their new life together. The guests indulge in a beautiful three tiered cake that is topped with peonies in several shades of pink. At the end of the night, no one disagrees that this wedding is breathtaking.
