This week's theme is Vintage Travel or World Travel. Since there aren't any specific colour palettes that you would need to follow, I will be focusing mostly on the little atmospheric touches that you can use to create this wedding vision.
Enjoy!
Reception Locations:
To give the venue of your wedding/reception a great travelled feel, why not look for venues at museums, libraries, or even on luxury trains?
Centerpieces and Decorations:
For really original centerpieces and decorations that greatly contribute to your travel theme, check out used bookstores, garage sales, and vintage stores to find old travel books, maps, postcards, stamps, models, or luggage cases!
Invitations:
To be a world traveller you need to have lots of postcards, tags, tickets, and passes. So why not design your invitations, save the dates, menus, or place cards with this in mind?
Cakes:
For a world travel themed cake, ideas are limitless! Why not try a cake designed to look like luggage, or a vintage world map? If there is a place that you and your fiancé have travelled, why not design you cake to reflect that place?
Hope to see you all tomorrow for What to Wear Wednesday and don't forget to vote for next week's theme!

I love the idea of a wedding at a museum. Last spring I went to one at a library and it was so nice, you can't help but love the architecture of older buildings.
Amazing blog! Keep up the great work.
Thanks Carrie-Anne!
Can you tell me where the invitation suite is from? I love the map and save the date tickets. I can't find anything similar online.
The invites and the save the date tickets are actually a custom made design that can be done through most printers. They are pretty difficult to find online, but if you search "ticket save the dates" or something similar into ETSY.com you get quite a selection of interesting designs. Hope that helps!
